The resort, which recently hosted the Ski-Cross World Cup and will hold the Speed Ski World Championship later this month, is home to more than 40 ski runs and 82 kilometers of cross-country trails. One of the largest year-round resorts, it plays host to more than 600,000 visitors each year.
The solution, supplied in conjunction with partner Swedish Radio Supply, comprises TETRA infrastructure and a fleet of portable radios.
“After thorough testing, the Sepura solution was unbeaten for both sound quality and overall reliability,” said Kjell Skoglund, operations manager for Idre Fjäll. “Users found the radios to be intuitive and easy to use, while the flexible infrastructure allows for a two-phase deployment, providing us with a cost-effective upgrade path for our planned network extension.”
