Chinese professional mobile radio (PMR) provider Hytera Communications made a binding offer to buy U.K.-based PMR technology company Sepura for 20 pence (US$0.25) in cash per Sepura share. The acquisition values the entire issued share capital of Sepura at about £74 million (US$92 million). Hytera confirmed to the Sepura board of directors that the offer is solely in cash, and the Sepura board recommended that the offer be accepted.

On Nov. 21, Rivada Mercury filed a pre-award protest of the FirstNet RFP, saying the Department of Interior (DOI) made an “unlawful decision to exclude Rivada Mercury’s proposal from the competitive range for the award.”
