PlantCML, Raytheon to Demo P25 ISSI and Mobile Communications Vehicle (3/4/10)

PlantCML, an EADS North America company, and Raytheon will conduct joint demonstrations of Project 25 (P25) Inter-RF Sub-System Interface (ISSI) at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE). First responders are invited to bring their own radios to test how they communicate with other radios on another system or frequency.

In addition to the P25 product demonstrations, Raytheon’s 53-foot-long trailer will showcase PlantCML’s emergency call processing and other systems. “This mobile demonstration vehicle is an ideal opportunity to view multiple public-safety solutions in a single location,” said Darrin J. Reilly, chief operating officer (COO) of PlantCML.

The mobile demonstration offers a hands-on experience, allowing public-safety professionals to experience how a variety of mission-critical solutions work in various rescue scenarios. The experience features an array of open architecture solutions, all of which allow users who operate on different types and frequencies of legacy communications networks to communicate locally and regionally, or in systems that span the United States.
